Its symbol is the cityscape, the quintessential symbol of organised animal society, rivalled only by the termites and ants.

The Island Biogeography Office

The Office promotes and identifies the unique characteristics of isolated lands.

Its symbol is the tiny island, with palm trees representing the mythologically "deserted" land.

The Upskilling Library

The Library provides, at no cost, upskilling resources and methods for enthusiasts, amateurs, and professionals.

Its symbol is the paper, ruler, and pencil: three tools that can be used in infinite ways.

The Overseas Expeditionary Service

The Expeditionary Service assists in the documentation of realms beyond Tasmanian shores.

Its symbol is the rotary glove, a famous educational tool depicting our spherical planet.

Office for the Captured Pixel

The Office is entrusted with the maintenance, organisation, and sharing of the numerous pixels captured by photographers.

Its symbol is the vintage film camera of the late 20th century, a portable chamber in which a special chemical film was carefully exposed to the light.

The Admiralty

On a planet covered in saltwater, the Admiralty seeks to document and record the liquid conditions.

Its symbol is the Captain's Wheel with which ocean-going vessels are navigated.
