The tidal saltmarsh wetlands are fragile, important, and underappreciated. It's hard to visit them on foot in the same way that you'd visit a solid mountain trail, but if you do travel into these dynamic ecosystems, there's much to learn and see. There's been a concerted effort by Vishnu Prahalad at the University of Tasmania to help a wider audience connect with these wetlands, and their poster Tidal Treasures of the Tamar is a great starting point. We've zoomed in on their good work to create this graphical resource, and you can chime in to NRM North to learn more.
